BusinessGreen – (June 23, 2015) – On June 30TH at 2:30 PM BST / 9:30 AM EST, BusinessGreen, in association with Asia Pulp & Paper, will be hosting an hour long twitter Q&A to examine the practical steps businesses need to take to help tackle deforestation.
The session will cover a wide range of topics including, how a company's contributions to deforestation can be assessed, and how end customers can play a part in the fight against deforestation. BusinessGreen will also be handing out some top tips and advice on the steps company's can take to reduce their impact on deforestation and how to ensure delivery on these commitments.
BusinessGreen editor, James Murray, will be hosting the Q&A along with Aida Greenbury, Managing Director of Sustainability, APP. Also, contributing to the discussion will be John Sauven, Executive Director, Greenpeace, Katie McCoy, Head of Forests Program, CDP, Scott Poynton, Founder of the Forst Trust, and Pier Luigi Sigismondi, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Unilever.
